Voice Assistant for Doctors – A New AI Feature in the Medfile Program
Biostat's developers are launching a Voice Assistant for doctors in the Medfile software designed for medical facilities. This AI-based tool operates in the background during medical consultations, recording the doctor's speech in real time with the ability to automatically assign the content to the patient’s medical record.
Our IT department regularly implements new solutions based on artificial intelligence. These innovations are integrated into the Medfile system for managing healthcare facilities. Following the introduction of Drug Assistant, Teleasystent AI, and AI Patient Assistant, it's now time for the Voice Assistant for doctors.
The Voice Assistant analyzes and categorizes key elements of the visit — the interview, symptoms, physical and diagnostic tests, diagnoses with ICD codes, treatment plan, and recommendations — and can then automatically assign them to the appropriate sections in the patient's record. The doctor can focus entirely on the patient without the need for manual data entry. The generated note can be reviewed and edited before being approved, ensuring full control over the medical documentation.
The tool operates discreetly, integrates with personalized visit templates, and complies with current data security standards, ensuring both ergonomic workflows and high-quality medical documentation. As a result, doctors save time, reduce the risk of errors, and manage consultations more efficiently, focusing on the therapeutic aspect of each visit.
Implementing Medfile’s Voice Assistant is a response to the daily challenges faced by doctors — limited time, administrative overload, and the need to fully concentrate on the patient. Thanks to AI technology, we were able to create a tool that streamlines and partially automates processes beyond the diagnosis itself,
