Patient Assistant is another AI-based solution in Medfile, following Drug Assistant. Thanks to this feature, patients receive full support via chat when searching for a doctor or specialist and booking an appointment.

At Medfile, we consistently implement solutions that use artificial intelligence. For some time now, doctors using the Medfile app have had access to the Drug Assistant feature, which supports them in selecting medications and issuing e-prescriptions.

Now we are introducing the Patient Assistant feature to visitors of the Medfile.pl website. PA is a chat powered by AI that helps patients properly identify their needs and symptoms and, based on that, find the right doctor or specialist and book an in-office visit or an online consultation.

In other words, thanks to the support of the Patient Assistant, patients don’t need to know the name of their condition or which specialist can help. It’s enough to simply describe their symptoms –  for example, “my shoulder hurts.” The chat will then guide the patient step by step to choose the right specialist, find an available appointment, and book either an in-office visit or an online consultation
